Day 1: Reception in France
You drive to the starting point on your own and join us for dinner.
You travel to your accommodation in France on your own. Here you will be received
by the tour guides of Fancycartours. During dinner there will be a
welcome/information meeting where we will go through the program of the coming days with
you and where we can get to know all the participants.
Day 2: Motorway along the landing beaches of Normandy
As you drive through Normandy, you will pass impressive historical sights
Today we drive the coastal route of Normandy. The picturesque landscape in the
inland and the changing coast of Normandy will not disappoint you. Via a beautiful
route along the coast we drive along the impressive landing beaches. At the end of
World War II, the liberation of Europe began at this location with the day
known as D-Day.
After lunch we drive via beautiful back roads to the hotel where we
join each other for dinner.
Day 3: Etretat – Route du Cider
This town is mainly known for its excellent chalk cliffs.
Today we drive along the Seine towards the coast of Étretat. This town is mainly known
for its excellent chalk cliffs. The port of Etretat is embedded between high white
chalk cliffs, a special landscape! After lunch we will drive the ‘’La Route du Cidre’’. A
route along various cider breweries in Normandy. Cider is a very important regional product
for Normandy. On this route you will encounter picturesque villages such as Beuvron-en-Auge, Cambremer,
Bonnebosq and Beaufour-Druval. Characteristic of Pays d’Auge is the richness of nature.
You will also find numerous castles, country and half-timbered houses that alternate with
apple orchards. We will also visit a cider farm to taste this
regional product. In the evening there will be another dinner at the hotel.
Day 4: Departure Home
All things come to an end
All things come to an end. It is time to return home satisfied. Of course you can first
take advantage of the hotel's breakfast buffet before you drive back to home.

The average participant of FancyCarTours is usually around 40 years old. He understands that life is full of challenges and therefore has a positive outlook on life. We ride about 250 km daily, divided into 2 or 3 parts. For example, one part can be 125 km, followed by a part stage of 125 km. Please note that each stage takes an average of 2 hours. Of course, we have planned breaks and lunches to make the ride smooth and relaxed.
Decide whether this ride is for you. Below we have listed the most important points.
- We will stay in the same hotel for 3 days.
- There are 2 driving days. On April 26th we will drive a route of approximately 200 kilometers and on April 27th we will drive a route of approximately 200 kilometers.
- The rides are full day. So you leave the hotel at 09:00 and you will be back at the hotel at 17:00.
- This edition is excursion oriented. This means that we will make many trips to visit sights of WW2.
- You like to meet new people.
- You are a car enthusiast.
- You are a no nonsense person, this is the most important ;-)

Yes, the price is per room. So a group of 2 people sleep in 1 room. If you would like a different composition of rooms, you can contact the organization via WhatsApp or E-mail. For a single room, there is a surcharge.
